Bob Tanaka President
Bob is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years experience and is a principal with a national accounting firm in Coquitlam. He is an active community member and has served on various Boards throughout the Tri-Cities community. |
Jill Cook Vice President
Jill has been active in the Tri-Cities community for over a decade. She is currently the Executive Director of the Coquitlam Heritage Society. As a nursing student in the Municipal Hospitals of Winnipeg, the limitations of institutionalized care for the dying was a profound lesson learned early. Jill looks forward to working hard to ensure the continued success of Crossroads Hospice. |
Lara Gerrits Board Secretary
Lara Gerrits is a media-relations/ communications specialist and former Tri-City News reporter who sits on the Executive Committee as Board Secretary. She also chairs the Marketing and Communications Working Group and is committed to sharing her expertise in an effort to help further the positive reputation of Crossroads. |
Jason Jakubec Treasurer
Jason is a local lawyer and an active member, and Past President, of the Rotary Club of Coquitlam Sunrise. He one of the founding members of the law group Lawyers West where he specializes in Business Law, Commercial and Real Estate, Employment Law, Real Property, Taxation, Wills & Trusts. |
Colette Eng Past President
Colette has been a Financial Planner with Westminster Savings for 16 years www.wscu.com; and is also active as a Visiting Volunteer at the Inlet Centre Hospice. She currently serves on several board committees, and supports Crossroads events by helping raise awareness of Crossroads Hospice Society. |
Jonathan Adams Board
Jon has always resided in Port Coquitlam and has consistently been involved in the Tri-Cities community through volunteering. Jon has been an employee of RBC for the past 9 years, currently as Assistant Branch Manager in Coquitlam. Jon has enjoyed being involved in many Crossroads events and fundraisers and feels honoured to be a part of the society board. |
Ken Catton Board
Ken is the Vice President and General Manager of Pacific Coast Terminals Co. Ltd. in Port Moody. Ken brings a background of administrative expertise and Board governance to the society. Ken feels that Crossroads Hospice itself is a very special place that he wishes to help continue thrive and prosper. |
Diana Hiebert Board
Diana is a Certified Dental Assistant Instructor and has recently retired from Douglas College. As a new board member, she looks forward to giving back to the community and supporting Crossroads Hospice Society to meet their needs and goals. |
Dawn McDonald Board
Dawn has been a Crossroads Hospice volunteer for a number of years and is currently in her third term as a Board Director. She has volunteered at the Inlet Centre Hospice, providing Therapeutic Touch services, conducting tours and working on scrapbooking projects. In our community she has organized fundraisers, secured corporate sponsors and been a speaker on Crossroads behalf. Dawn serves on several Board subcommittees and currently chairs the Crossroads Share the Care/Twinning Project Committee. |
Doug Morneau Board
Doug Morneau, Chief Rhino at Rhino Marketing Inc., a local direct marketing and advertising agency. Doug has been blessed as an energetic and enthusiastic idea guy with a Just Do It Attitude, and wants to use his gifts to serve the community as a volunteer, board member, and fan.
