Since 1993 Treasures of Christmas has grown from a small community fundraiser to our signature fundraising event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for hospice care in our community. Held each year at the Red Robinson Show Theatre this volunteer driven event is considered by many to be the start to their Christmas season.
We are in the planning stages of our stellar 2012 event so look out for updates on our social media and local community papers. Sponsorship opportunities are currently available. Please call our office at 604-945-0606 for more information.

Each year beautifully decorated theme-trees sparkle, glimmer and glow at this festive event. Nestled under each tree is a bounty of beautiful gifts to be auctioned off during the fast-paced live auction and the anticipation silent auctions. But it doesn't end with the trees. There is also a vast array of other fabulous live and silent auction merchandise and services. Bid on boat cruises, vacation get-a-ways, golf packages, jewelry and art - all in support the Crossroads Hospice. If you don't get the items you want, we will raffle off plenty of chances to win spectacular prizes before the night is over.
- How can I get tickets? Can I buy tickets at the door?
You can buy event tickets by contacting the Crossroads Business Office at 604-945-0606. You can also reserve a table for family, friends or colleagues by purchasing a block of ten tickets. We anticipate another sellout this year so no tickets will be sold at the door. Contact us for more information about tickets.
- How can I support Treasures of Christmas?
As a supporter of Treasures of Christmas you can play an important role in helping us to provide the highest standard of care possible. There are several ways you can help support this event and Crossroads Hospice Society. For example you can:
- become an event sponsor;
- sponsor a tree;
- provide a silent or live auction item;
- give a cash donation; or
- promote Treasures of Christmas by displaying our posters, brochures or information on your website and within your business.
Contact our office to be added to the mailing list. We send out sponsorship requests in the spring and would love to have you participate.
- If I can't attend, how can I help?
If you can't attend the gala, please consider becoming a Treasures of Christmas Committee Member or let your artistic spirits soar by volunteering to decorate one of our many Christmas trees. You have an excellent chance of meeting wonderful, creative caring people! You can also contact us directly to make a cash donation to the event.
- How will the proceeds of the gala be used?
The monies raised at the Treasures of Christmas gala will go directly into the operating funds for hospice care and services for terminally ill patients at Crossroads Hospice Society. Last year we raised over $100,000 through the generous support of our neighbours and sponsors in the Tri-Cities area and throughout the province. We couldn't do it without your assistance.
