Because we cannot repair items and have to pay for disposal, we are NOT able to accept the following:

Used stuffed toys
Toys
Encyclopedias, National Geographic's or Readers Digest
Non-functioning or very large items

Donations Accepted

Donations must be dropped off during store hours at the side of the building only. Please ring the door bell and a volunteer will assist in unloading your items. We cannot guarantee that donations dropped off after hours will benefit the Crossroads Thrift Store and to help cut down clean-up costs, this is not advisable.

The Crossroads Hospice Thrift Store was established in August 2004 by Crossroads Hospice Society as another means of raising funds for hospice palliative care in your community. The thrift store carries a wide variety of high-end merchandise offered in a friendly and very affordable atmosphere. Conveniently located on the corner of Barnet Highway and Falcon Drive in Coquitlam there is plenty of easy parking.

Lend Hospice a helping hand - Volunteer Opportunities

Crossroads Thrift Store is always looking for new volunteers. A variety of positions are available along with opportunities to gain work experience, make new friendships while contributing to your community. It's fun, it's interesting, and you get to work with some of the nicest people. We offer orientation sessions, regular support meetings, and look for new ideas in helping us raise funds to support the programs offered by the Society. No matter what job our volunteers choose, they go home each day knowing they have made a difference in someone's quality of life. If you have a special talent or just some time to spare, please call. We would love to have you join our team!

Shifts are available:

Depending upon special needs or volunteer's duties, hours may be flexible. Most volunteers work one shift per week. Volunteers must be able to take direction and work independently on their own.
